चरणारविन्दं गोविन्दं नमामि।
गुरुदेवशरणं गुरुदेव नमामि॥
caraṇāravindaṁ govindaṁ namāmi |
gurudevaśaraṇaṁ gurudeva namāmi ||
I bow down to the lotus feet of Sri Krishna.
O' my teacher, I seek refuge, I bow down!
भवभव्यभावं त्रयतापहारम्।
भवभयविनाशं गुरुदेव नमामि॥
bhavabhavyabhāvaṁ trayatāpahāram |
bhavabhayavināśaṁ gurudeva namāmi ||
O' my teacher, you are the source of all thoughts,
you dispel all pain, you destroy all grief, I bow down!
कल्याणरूपं आनन्दकंदम्।
धारामृतशिवं गुरुदेव नमामि॥
kalyāṇarūpaṁ ānandakaṁdam |
dhārāmṛtaśivaṁ gurudeva namāmi ||
O' my teacher, you embody my blessings,
you are the source of my joy,
you are my immortal stream of Shiva, I bow down!
अरेण्यं वरेण्यं सुरेशं रमेशम्।
त्रयदेवरूपं गुरुदेव नमामि॥
areṇyaṁ vareṇyaṁ sureśaṁ rameśam |
trayadevarūpaṁ gurudeva namāmi ||
O' my teacher, you are worthy of respect,
you are the best, you are the god of gods,
you are the Shiva, I bow down to your three forms!
न जानामि जापं न जानामि ध्यानम्।
पशुपतिरूपं गुरुदेव नमामि॥
na jānāmi jāpaṁ na jānāmi dhyānam |
paśupatirūpaṁ gurudeva namāmi ||
I know not how to chant, nor do I know meditation,
O' my teacher, I bow down to the form of Shiva!
भूतेशप्रणम्य अनन्तस्वरूपम्।
भक्तस्य त्राणं गुरुदेव नमामि॥
bhūteśapraṇamya anantasvarūpam |
bhaktasya trāṇaṁ gurudeva namāmi ||
O' my teacher, you are the omniscient,
you are worshiped by the Lord of all beings,
you are the refuge of the devotees, I bow down!
घटाकाशगुप्तं महाकाशरूपम्।
चिदाकाशव्यक्तं गुरुदेव नमामि॥
ghaṭākāśaguptaṁ mahākāśarūpam |
cidākāśavyaktaṁ gurudeva namāmi ||
O' my teacher, you are concealed in the darkness of the sky,
you are the form of the infinite space,
then you are expressed in my conscience, I bow down!
अकल्पं अनूपं तपन्तं दिगन्तम्।
अगोगोचराणां गुरुदेव नमामि॥
akalpaṁ anūpaṁ tapantaṁ digantam |
agogocarāṇāṁ gurudeva namāmi ||
O' my teacher, you are beyond imagination,
you are beyond comparison,
you are the culmination of all austerities,
you are the destination of all seekers of knowledge,
I bow down!
सिद्धिः अगम्यं तव पादपद्मे।
प्रवुद्धं शुभेशं गुरुदेव नमामि॥
siddhiḥ agamyaṁ tava pādapadme |
pravuddhaṁ śubheśaṁ gurudeva namāmi ||
O' my teacher, skills are trivial at your lotus feet,
you are the learned one, you are the well-wisher,
I bow down.
